The Tasting Room is part of our Winery Restaurant & is small with limited capacity. While walk-ins are always welcome, bookings are recommended for groups of 6 or more.
Please understand that on any given day if we are full with bookings we may not be able to accommodate you but will suggest an alternative time to return.
PLEASE BOOK FOR ALL GUESTS, INCLUDING CHILDREN. Please see our cancellation & no show policy (below) for conditions.
Tables are available from 11:30am to 2:30pm (& later in the Summer months)
Bringing food or alcohol onto our premises is prohibited.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY:
All reservations made at Mercury Bay Estate must be accompanied by a valid Visa or MasterCard credit card to confirm your booking. To confirm that the debit or credit card information provided is accurate, we may place a temporary authorisation on your debit or credit card at the time you provide your debit or credit card information.
Cancellation or changes to your booking must be made at least 24 hours prior to your booking by contacting Mercury Bay Estate by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 027 866 4066 or you will be charged a fee.
If you are unable to keep your reservation and you fail to cancel the reservation according to the notice period above a $25 NZD charge per person will be charged to the credit card provided. The cancellation charge also applies to changes in numbers for your group i.e. if you booked for 8 people but 2 were a no show and you had not informed us in accordance with the notice period.
Our reservation system is provided by EVEVE who guarantee to maintain the privacy of the data provided.The transactions for processing payments & capturing credit card data is handled through STRIPE who operate one of the highest dat protection standards worldwide.
